“This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. My only suggestions would be to add lamps (why do New Zealanders hate bedside lamps??) and maybe a few DVDs (after a long day of hiking, would have been nice to watch a……

“Rain or shine, Hana never fails to disappoint. A stay here is tonic for the soul. After the busy activities in Lahaina area, it felt great to slow down and just be. The home was a tranquil place, beautiful yard of flowers to greet us, a strand of native bananas hung by the door for the picking. Good! We are two older couples and the accommodations were perfect. “Our second stay in this house (top floor only).Easy booking, clear instructions, has as described. Great location for our stay in Hana. Helpful host!We were familiar with the house and it is as advertised. The only issue was two of the fans don't work as they should (one moves little to no air now as compared to our last stay) and the other started making very loud noises during the night and woke 2 of us up. When they are fixed all will be great! ”

“The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!”

“My son and I stayed with Bill and Paula and it was amazing. If you want to experience remote versus resort, this is where you go! I felt lucky being there and learning about village life and Bill and Paula's family, which touched my heart. It was extremely special in so many ways. “I booked for Tia Kautai Studio but got told at check-in the unit we booked had a tenant occupyinh for another week. It wasn't available for us and even staff don't understand how that happened. We just needed a place to crash for the day before departure flight. Still happy they managed to find us a subsitute @ Kikii Inn suites which is reasonably clean and fits our family needs. We had a restful time before the night flights. Thanks”

“Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price”

“What a lovely home in a great location just five minutes in car from Hokitika Town. Very spacious home and it was lovely and warmwith the log burner and heat pump. Beds so comfy and warm, we had the best sleep! Hosts very communicative and friendly. Go do the Hokitika Gorge walk and the Tree Top walk .
