“The Estate was an easy and convenient option for a short stay in Mount Dora to visit family. The space was perfect for us with 2 beds and a kitchenette. It was quiet and pretty. Logistics of getting in were easy and the proprietors checked in with us to ensure everything was OK. Well-located! Recommend the nearby Highland Cafe for breakfast. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful lake across from the entrance. The property is beautiful and full of southern charm. The room we stayed in was the Captain’s Room which is nautical themed and featured a jacuzzi tub (I unfortunately didn’t get to test out the jacuzzi function though). It was adorably decorated and very cozy. Breakfast service in the morning takes place in the common area of the office. Everything was delicious……

“The unit was nice though the AC was not operating properly. The Hosts were very understanding and immediately offer/processed refund and assisted in instructing us on method of cancelation to get full refund from VRBO. VRBO was also extremely prompt in processing a our full refund. This was a first for us using VRBO and was very skeptical but after this experience I will not have any reservation about using VRBO again as well as booking through this host. The AC issues were out of the hosts……

“This place is over the garage of an attached house and has stairs. The owner respected our privacy and let us enjoyed their beautiful yard and dock as if they were not there. They always asked if we needed anything. Very quiet retreat and Mt Dora nearby has alot of shops, resturants and tour boats to enjoy. Just wish the fish were biting more.”
