Our mistake for not reading the property details as there was no air-con and it was very uncomfortable during the nights without this as we ended up with quite warm weather which was a bonus for the days that we did stay. When we arrived and checked in we noticed that the door was not closing properly which was resolved straight away and dirty mugs had been left there too, again this was resolved straight away but no apology for this. “Amazing old building nestled in some peaceful woodland. Great breakfast, excellent produce, poached egg was perfect, lovely fresh bread. The room was extremely spacious and well decorated. Comfortable bed and good shower. Great to have free parking in Ilfracombe too. We ate breakfast each morning while watching a multitude of birds through the breakfast room window. ”
