“We had a wonderful stay; a great host and very welcoming. The scenery is breathtaking and serine, perfectly nestled within the trees. The front porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and a good book. You’re a short distance away from downtown Hilo, hiking trails, waterfalls and a clear night sky. “This is a really cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath Ohana unit. Full kitchen and refrigerator made it convenient to have breakfast before heading out for the day. Diana was amazing and we Will definitely be booking this again when we travel back to Hilo. Mahalo much for the hospitality. ”

“The house is great. There was an issue which the owners took care of promptly. This place does not have a/c and that is likely my fault. I'm sure I just missed it in the listing. The house wasn't too warm during the day but cooled down and sleeping at night was perfect. It is close to Hilo town. It is close to a general store if you need something and walking distance from a beach that apparently has seals at it frequently. We did not see any this trip. We had the house to ourselves.……

“We really enjoyed our two-week stay at the cottage. It had a little of everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The back lanai was especially nice. The geckos would visit us every time we ate on the back lanai. And you could hear the ocean from time to time. Lots of ocean cliffs nearby to walk to and explore. The only recommendation we have is to fix/replace the microwave above the stove, although Kelly had a backup microwave available. Everything to see on the Hilo side of the island was……
