“On a whim we decided to fly to the Big Island and avoid the crowds and get a little hometown feel in Hilo. We missed the volcano eruption by just two days but that was the only disappointment for the trip. Our accommodations were perfect - exactly as described and photo’d. The welcome treat and coffee was a very nice touch. This was a perfect location to spend a day at Hawaii Volcano Ntl Park and another day driving around the island. “Good location for exploring east side of the island. Pool was a big hit with the kids. A bit noisy with nearby construction during the day, but assume that will stop soon. Loved the variety of birds and flora. Easy hike down to the ocean. Property description was accurate. Owner was responsive.”

“The owners or care takers (I don't know who exactly they were) were kind and tried to help us when we asked. The decorations are a nice touch and seemed clean. It is located where it rains a lot, so expect a lot of humidity. The windows were open when we walked in (the windows do have screens), I'm guessing the windows were kept open to keep the place cool and comfortable. There is a fan in the bedroom and living room, but the fan in the living room will only stay on if the light stays on,……

“We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous ranch house. My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had family come over for a barbecue. It fit us all comfortably and we all enjoyed the beautiful view and animals roaming around. 5 stars all around. ”

“We visited Hawaii for the first time this summer for my parent's 60th Anniversary. There were 11 of us in total at the house and we could not have made a better choice. There was plenty of space for everyone ( ok sometimes the teenage girls spent too much time in the bathrooms) and the surroundings were perfect. We loved meals on the balcony overlooking the ocean.
