“Completely redone/new. We think it may have just been done, because there were sparse kitchenware. Enough for two, and we managed to cook, but definitely needs an upgrade as far as pots, pans, utensils and dishware. Keep in mind there is no yard, so if you bring pets plan on going to Hopatcong State Park (three minute drive) to walk them. Also, it’s on a hill and the dock and lake are only accessible by many steep steps. ”

“I was fooled by the pictures. Upon check-in, they require to zelle cleaing fee. When I finally got inside, I found absolutely nothing lux about this property, no comfort and hospitality. The broken floor welcome me, all 4 beds are broken, only 2 TVs, moldy restroom, zero confort. They left 4 towels for 6 people for 6 nights. I had to request more towels. Messaged them several times and I have not gotten any response nor have I gotten my money back and it has been days now with no response. “A lovely property, a couple of blocks from the subway, , very comfortable bed, well furnished, easy wifi, noise control is pretty good. Multiple smudges, scratches throughout, in the hallways as well as the apt. Shower head in the bath has peeled painting. The large window doors were locked shut. Opening would have permitted of lovely, gentle breeze. A big (live) cockroach in the middle of the living room floor.”

“Check-in and check-out process was a breeze in this stylish studio located in a very safe walkable area. Loads of sunlight and lots of city traffic noises (bring a sound machine/ ear plugs if you have trouble sleeping) which added to the experience. “Great location, walkable, safe and spacious. Host is very easy and quick to communicate.Communication can be improved on a few areas- no pull out coach as described. Appreciated late check out for a small fee but frustrating that our key card was not extended and the cleaners kept knocking and were not notified. However host was very quick to answer & remedy the issue. Lovely stay, would certainly stay again!”

“The apartment is well located and very nicely accommodated. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Three of the four bedrooms do now contain new portable air-conditioning units. There is no air-conditioning in the 3rd bedroom, kitchen/living area, or bath. The first week of Julne had hot days and the temperature never fell below 80 degrees in most areas.
