“This is a lovely hotel in a rural setting but relatively close (around 10min) to the M4. Driving up the narrow lane to the hotel set the mood for me, quiet and tranquil. The staff throughout the stay were friendly and accomodating. This was a business trip and we hosted a business dinner at the restaurant. The service was very good as was the food. “Couldn’t fault the place in terms of it’s all we were looking for and needed - we’d go back if we were doing a similar trip. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly. Close to a shop and a short drive to the town and about half an hour to Cardiff. Only fault was the place is in need of a bit of a face lift, but overall, very happy with the place. ”

“My recent stay was extremely disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shower head was broken, which made bathing an unpleasant experience. The room itself was dusty and had a bad smell, compounded by the constant noise from the surroundings.
