“The house was nice and the picture were for the house but as most time, it looked nicer than it was. Overall the house was clean and the bed and everything was good, but everything was starting to get a bit old. It was winter and it was a bit call the radiators to be use were a bit old and made noise. “Casona La Recoleta is a wonderful place to stay at Cusco. My spouse became ill from the altitude sickness upon arrival. The staff immediate tested her blood oxygen level and offered an emergency oxygen tank to relieve her symptoms. My spouse kept on and off the oxygen without success of bringing her blood oxygen level up on her own. We ran out of the oxygen in the middle of the night, and the 24-hr onsite staff helped with another tank while I was trying to book a flight to get us down to Lima……

“My favorite hotel experience of our entire Peru trip. I highly recommend Melissa Wasi! The locale was amazing. The view of the mountains, the flowers around the hotel, the friendly dogs on premises, everything was magical. I did not want to leave! It was a chilly night when we were there, but firewood was right outside our door and the fire kept us warm and cozy. The owners were amazing people and helped us in any way we asked. We were there the night that Peru played Brazil in the final……
