“We came to New York for very sad circumstances. To bury a loved one. We left New York one of the best experiences as a family having the space and the comfort and the luxury that we deserved in such time. It was a wonderful day. It is nestled in the heart of the city close to the park close to all shopping close to food. It’s one of the most stress-free experiences I’ve ever had at any hospitality home/hotel. “Apartment was large spacious and clean. Check in a but stressful. Requested. 30 mintue early check in so my daughters and i could get ready for a wedding we were attending. Host could not give a definitive answer and check in instructions werent sent but 20 minutes before check in. NO PARKING. 30 mintues driving around at midnight to find a spot 6 blockes away. Thats a long walk in heels aftering dancing all night! LoL. I dont know the area so I assumed there would be parking. I will ask from……

“I was not in the property I booked. The owner told me this was her personal unit with “some” of her personal items in it. It was her apartment that had all of her personal effects and had not been cleaned. The trash was full, the dishwasher stunk, there were no cleaning supplies or paper towels. When I asked about not being in the unit I booked, she got defensive and told me this was a bigger unit and that my daughter could sleep in the loft. The loft smelled like cat piss and was cramped full……

“I have stayed in several vacation homes in Nyack. Some were swankier, most were cleaner or better stocked, but none was more comfortable or in a better location. The neigborhood is quiet, the house has loads of privacy, and you can easily walk to anything in town. There is a short but very steep part on this walk, so bring some sneakers if walking in town is your thing. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to feel as though you LIVE in Nyack. This was my fourth stay at this house. ”

“The property is as advertised. It's spacious and the beds are comfortable; it was clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped - pretty much everything you could want (except, as one previous guest noted, bowls, and dish cloths). Rogerta responded promptly to emails with small questions and we didn't have any issues during our stay. As noted there is a second apartment in the building and you can occasionally hear talking or the TV, but it was not at volume or enough to disturb anyone……

“This property has been skillfully and thoughtfully updated. Window unit AC in every room. Plenty of GFC outlets. Everything you need in the small and functional kitchen. Beautiful bathroom. One bedroom is a quiet dark cave. One is gorgeous and sunny. Surprisingly quiet for its location. There are city noises and that are to be expected, but the AC drowned them out. The Subway is about 30 steps away and you can get anywhere in less than 30 minutes! Here's the reason I can't give it five stars……
