“What excited us about this property was its safe and great central location and proximity to the major attractions in NYC especially Central Park. The check-in process was straightforward. We were a party of 8 plus a small child and this property offered ample living and sleeping space for everyone. All heating/cooling units and appliances are still new. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need. Host was very easy to reach and responsive. Thanks. ”

“The property is lovely, comfortable, clean, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We loved being able to plug in to the monitor to work comfortably and having extra space for relaxing. You are close to both Central and Riverside Parks for great walks. Great food is minutes away, but you’re also tucked into a quiet street for the evening. Our only downside was that the AC wasn’t working and things got humid. Otherwise, comfortable and beautiful.”

“This property was in a fabulous location. Apartment was very clean and the host was responsive. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners in the rooms were very appreciated. We would have loved an extra hand towel or dish towel for the kitchen. Unfortunately, we ended up with a plumbing problem on our last day so we were unable to use the bathroom sink or shower which put a slight damper on an otherwise wonderful experience. ”

“The apartment was a charming two-bedroom unit typical of the Upper West Side in New York. Its location was conveniently close to all the attractions we intended to visit, and the subway station was just three blocks away, providing easy access to Brooklyn, Princeton, and the rest of the boroughs. I would highly recommend this stay—it was peaceful and, for lack of a better term, very inviting. My teenagers, who are all over 6’2”, found it to be quite comfortable as well.”

“The host communicated well and made sure all of our questions were quickly answered. The apartment's decor is fun and exactly like the picture. Super cute! The location is well into Harlem, so keep that in mind. It was about an 18-minute walk to the closest subway, so we used Uber the whole time we were there.”

“I was very impressed with this "hotel". It is more of an AirBB as your unit is an apartment in an apartment building with permant residents. “The property was very clean and accomodating for my husband myself and my 2 daughters 5 and 6 yrs old. We were able to put them to bed in the back bedroom with their own tv and stay up ourselves with the complementary bottle of wine left for us! What a treat. The queen size pull out sofa was comfortable. They left us eye masks and the bathroom was stocked with tooothbrushes and mouthwash shampoos conditioner and body wash. “This unit was Perfect. Allia the property manger was very helpful and informative. Was little concerned about the area but it ended up being in a great neighborhood near many Restaurants 2 blocks up. If we hadn’t had a 4 year old we would have walked everywhere. Ubers and taxis were easy. The Mercedes House is an huge apartment complex but very safe and friendly. They have a front desk person at all times for help . “This property has been skillfully and thoughtfully updated. Window unit AC in every room. Plenty of GFC outlets. Everything you need in the small and functional kitchen. Beautiful bathroom. One bedroom is a quiet dark cave. One is gorgeous and sunny. Surprisingly quiet for its location. There are city noises and that are to be expected, but the AC drowned them out. The Subway is about 30 steps away and you can get anywhere in less than 30 minutes! Here's the reason I can't give it five stars……
