“George and Subhas home was perfect for our family to spend a weekend in southern Connecticut while in town for the weekend to visit friends. “Wow! I wish we could have stayed here more than just one night! The host was so accommodating of our last-minute reservation and provided friendly and thoughtful assistance throughout our stay. This home is stunning! Careful planning and top-of-the-line finishes clearly went into every detail of this beautiful family home and we were so comfortable in every space. “The sheets were way over bleached and burned my skin. The bed is way too soft and the sofa is uneven and sinks. The area is quite scary especially at night, and it is surrounded by vacant lots and construction zones. Most of the other stores in this building are closed, and homeless people walking around. The cleaning products use have a distinctively bad smell that even the air conditioning couldn’t eliminate, and the air conditioners are so loud you can’t hear the tv if they are running.”

“This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again.”

“I was fooled by the pictures. Upon check-in, they require to zelle cleaing fee. When I finally got inside, I found absolutely nothing lux about this property, no comfort and hospitality. “The photos of the unit were beautiful however the wear and tear on the actual property did not compare. The bathroom sink constantly leaked and because the floors were not even they stayed wet. The nightstands were broken the refrigerator would not open all the way. I also was not notified until the day of check in that the unit was on the 3rd floor and there was 2 flights of stairs just to get to the entrance to the unit.”

“This location did not have anything close by in regards of places to eat or drink. However, it was spotless and looked just like it was advertised! My daughter n I felt very safe the whole stay. It’s just a short walk from 2 subway trains which made it very easy to get into the city! We did take an Uber at night to get back—-cost less than $40—to ensure safety. “Listing was not as advertised, in an unsafe neighborhood, requested separate rental agreement (which would be fine) but an additional requirement for card documentation for their file, implying a duplicate charge. When I tried to cancel our 5 night stay (online, via phone, and through email) after nearly being accosted by 3 strangers upon our entry, I was immediately denied and told 'no refund', 'can't cancel' and 'its not known (locally) as a safe place'. Amazing experience for a short stay in NYC

"Awesome location, just a few minutes walk to 5th ave and central park. We stayed at higher floors, room was modern and spacious, and plenty of lamps in the room so we got the option to customize the lighting to our liking. Bathroom had Dyson hairdryer which is a huge plus, the lighting was also good. Free bottled water provided. Hallway was quiet at night during our stay even though our room was right next to the elveator. Although we did only stay there during the week day. We got to check-in early and the process was smooth. Free lounge breakfast was included with our stay, although the choices were simple they were more than enough. Overall it was a very nice experience. "
