“This place is amazing! Our second time here and we got a villa this time. Totally worth it! The villa is spacious, clean and a private pool was so amazing to have. Cala Luna feels safe as we traveled with our 3 kids. 2 teens and 6 year old. We are already planning our next trip back. We had Jose as our tour guide to Rio Celest and he knows everything about everything in the rainforest and about Costa Rica. ”

“Great place, great value, great location, great breakfast. The pool was a bit small, but the ocean and beach are only minutes away. TV was poor, if that's important to you. Stayed for 6 nights. ”

“We think a cooked to order breakfast is a great way to start the day! Then ten minutes to the beach until lunchtime and the day’s heat sent us back to the hotel pool to cool off and read with a cold beverage. Easy walk downtown for dinner and a comfy cool bed to return to. ”

“Hotel listing should not say "ocean view" and the hotel should not come up when "ocean view" filter is activated at booking sites. Also might want to warn about inaccessibility for those with difficulty walking. ”

“I was concerned when I first realized that the hotel is located on a bustling street in Tamarindo. But when I got into my room that concern went away. The buildings are set back from the road quite a way, and have air conditioning. I am noise sensitive and was not bothered at all. Staff was friendly, the room was clean, the shower had hot water, the wifi and A/C worked perfectly. I did not use the pool, but the pool and its area looked clean and pleasant. Bonus- great coffee and pastries……

“Property was quiet. Close to downtown. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The property had many steps to navigate so si would not recommend it for anyone who has a mobility problem. ”

“Feel free to find my Google review but long story short: one star for service. I complained after two nights bc the last night there were like ten ants in the bathroom that I had to kill, a spider on the wall, and tons of mosquitos (the mosquitos were expected) but the ants and other microscopic bugs were in the bed. Instead of saying I’m sorry and moving on, the owners had to belittle me instead. Made me feel like a spoiled brat. Said “I’m not sure if you don’t have ants in Mexico but we’re in……
