“This hotel deserves zero stars if that were an option. It was a terrible experience, and here’s why: 1. Outdated Facilities: The roof appears to have been neglected for years, and the overall condition of the facilities is poor. 2. Worn-out Bedding: The bed linens were old and tattered, making for an uncomfortable sleep. 3. Unpleasant Odor: The room smelled damp and musty, reminiscent of an old, poorly ventilated house. 4. “Unique “treehouse” experience. Amazing forest/mountains view. It was quite of a delight to stay in such of eco-friendly environment. Great food at the Hotel Taru restaurant. “Loved the food options. 2 different pools, one with a lot of activities and one more quiet. The staff was outstanding. Big shout out to Gina, our server in the Cafe and Alba our hostess. Drivers Heiner and Nelson made our transportation around the resort personable and enjoyable. We were treated as friends rather than guests. The head concierge Josue was attentive to our every need and the ultimate professional. ”
