I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants privacy yet access to everything and anything that touristy Tamarindo has to offer. We'll be back. ”

However, the gracious host, Stefan, went above and beyond by setting me up with a neighbor for the night and showed me a great local restaurant, Pacific Seafood, which was out of this world, then made a phenomenal breakfast in the morning! While many hosts may have said they're sorry, it's Expedia's fault, which it was. However, at Antemo Lodge, Stefan stepped up and solved the problem by ensuring I was cared for. Antemo……

“The building is U shaped with the rooms overlooking the beautiful pool in the center. The room had great AC and was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly even offering to let us borrow beach chairs if needed. Breakfast each morning by the pool was fantastic. Located in the center of town made it easy to walk to restaurants, the beach or shopping. Glad I chose it! ”

“Our room was absolute barebones !!!! No chair no hanging cupboard, no night lamps, no tv, no tea or coffee facilities, no decoration of any kind, two wooden boxes for bed stands !!! No cups or glasses for water. Bathroom the same, bad smell from shower, no water pressure, toilet cistern faulty, had to open tank to get floater valve to work. No cupboard beneath the sink, bordered up, no place to put toiletries, tiles unfinished in shower !!!!”
