“This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.”

“After a 1 week stay in Cape Town we were looking for a place to stay for two nights close to the airport. We required a stay with airport transportation, a pool or other leisure activities and dining as we would not have a car. The Zevenwacht more than delivered. Located in Stellenbosch region it would also be great starting point for day trips in the area. Our unit was on the hill overlooking the estate with a spectacular view, particularly in the evening when we would sit on our patio……

Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. “Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. We also used the Xest Spa at the sister hotel, Chapter House. We had the gold package which was amazing. The ladies there were so……
