“It hostel-style so there is a kitchen for cooking meals and shared bathroom/shower facilities. Just be aware that you can only use the kitchen 8 am-8:30 pm which is a little restrictive. It would be nice if there was a microwave and small sink in the meadow house for after-hours use. I would love to stay again, the scenery is incredibly beautiful.”

“I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. If you need a base……

“This house was both beautiful and comfortable. Extremely well laid-out for a family gathering. The far den was a great kids' space with lots of toys and just enough separation from the living area for adults to stay sane. The connected kitchen/breakfast table/living room was bright and spacious, even with extra family members there for a meal.The location is a very quiet neighborhood, but still very convenient to the main roads for all our favorite destinations. Lots of parking.A great gas stove……
