“Susan our host was warm and welcoming, the property was beautiful and our room was really nice. The breakfast was gorgeous! We come to Ibstock to visit our friends for their Christmas party every year and this was the first time we'd chosen to find somewhere else to stay. Needless to say, we'll be making a stay at The Post House part of our annual tradition and we're looking forward to staying again next year!”

“This is truly in different league to other hotels, loved it. Whilst the food in the restaurant is amazing, the only criticism I have, is there needs to be more obvious options for families, 3 main course and drinks for over £100 pound for adults is fine for the quality of the food, but way to expensive for a family. Still for a romantic getaway its truly amazing., and I would definitely go back. St”

“Stayed here a few times & had a meal too. Cant fault the rooms at all & the meals are beautiful. Only issue was we only had 1 towel between us but that was soon rectified. Also never anyone on reception & not sure the bell work's ”

“Lovely stay with excellent staff who were very welcoming and attentive during our one night stay. The accommodation was clean and well presented, although a little tired in places, which was absolutely fine for our stay. The bed was a small double, which was a little soft for my liking, although other reviews say the beds were great, so very much a personal preference. Don't let that put you off as out time here was great. The food is lovely in the pub, and as I said at the beginning, the staff……

“The hotel was lovely, everything was spotlessly clean and looked brand new! We arrived late, but the staff on reception were very understanding and checked us in swiftly. Breakfast was delicious and there was an amazing selection. ”

“I stay at the Dixie Arms about six times every year for when I visit my grandchildren. I have not yet been disappointed in their friendly welcome clean and comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast. Would fully recommend as tremendous value too.”
