“Cons. Sketchy looking outside Towels are thin and cheap No much water pressure in shower or sink Pros. Looks sketchy outside but I promise it’s not. We felt very safe. Front desk guy was great. They have cameras all over for safety. Beds were comfy. There isn’t a heavy comforter but we didn’t get chilly at all. Room was very clean. We are very picky about where we stay. We usually stay in high class hotels. With that said I would come back here. It was right across the street from the pier.……

“I booked a non-smoking room. However, I could smell the smoke even after opening the door for ventilation for a few hours. The cleanliness of the bed could be improved.”

“The building is older but don't let it fool you. A quaint 60's era motel that is remodeled and up to date inside with the outside feel of a 1960s mom and pop motel. This is going to be my permanent stop when visiting Norfolk. Nick and his wife are great. The Bay Inn is a family run business and you're treated like family when you stay here. Nick let me know if there were any problems on the property just let him know and he would take care of it. But I never had any problems. We stayed 5 days……

“Super close to Water Country USA. Ants were a slight problem but that’s the season we are in. Everyone was really nice at the property. Kitchen/living room was very small in the 1 bedroom when the sleeper sofa was pulled out. ”
