“When you stay, and they send you the door lock code and tell you to use google maps, and download the offline map. DO IT! The signal out there is definitely no bueno, so when you arrive, if you have no signal you will now be able to get in lol I love that they told us ahead of time, and that they have WIFI available too.We had so much fun at this stay! “We grew up in the Kern River Valley. If you’re looking to gather with friends/family this place offers a great inviting space! It’s close enough to walk to town and cozy enough to want to stay in. We will definitely look to rebook in future visits. ”

“We had a great time in Kernville. Excellent house we stayed in, couldn't have been nicer! Clen, updated, fully furnished, very refreshing....and great location and view of the mountains. Terrific meals at Ewings, KRBC, El Rio and Cheryl's! Tried fishing, no luck, but still fun. We'll be back and hopefully the property will be available for us!Kent”

“Enjoyed our stay at Cinnamon Cottage while we toured Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. After a long day of touring it was nice to come home to a hot shower and comfy beds. “We loved our stay at the ranch. My kids loved running around and getting to feed the goats. I loved all the fruit trees - the best orange I’ve ever eaten! It’s about 25 minutes to the gate of Sequoia NP, then it takes another hour to get to the big tree when you’re inside the park. Overall it was peaceful and lovely We loved eating outside under the pergola too. And the fresh chicken eggs! Vivian was so responsive. Would definitely stay again. ”

“When we first arrived the house had not been cleaned from previous customers. I called Chris and he got his cleaning team right over and had the place spick and span by the time we got back from visiting my daughter. I was thankful we had somewhere to go while they cleaned. “While I was there, water heater went out and door lock was very uncooperative. The host was responsive and got both replaced. The only other issue was that I stayed while temperatures outside reached over 100 degrees. Even with circulation fans, the A/C wasn't enough. Needs insulation. ”
