“The check-in Lady, I don't recall her name, was so helpful and courteous - she taught me that going through Expedia, I am not getting Hilton Points...so I now have a choice to make...she also helped me get ice for food stuffs that I had in my car, as I was making a three day trip from Florida to Connecticut - we will stay here again next year.”

“Very clean. Comfortable. Had a strong, odd chemical odor in the room (cleaners? new materials?). Got used to it but it concerns me that we were breathing that in. Desk staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast—no hot food. All cold but toasters available, all bananas were green. “Over-all, where it counted, I gave the property a 5 star. The room was much nicer than most (at least I liked the layout) and the breakfast was pretty nice, and I liked the ability to go directly into the hotel from the garage though whoever built the property could have done a better job of aligning the garage with the actual floor levels. Our room was facing the busy street and did have road noise all night if you are a light sleeper. One elevator was out during our visit, which caused some……

"The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin."
