“Lovely house. Came off season so the pool and garden were not attended too but too cold for sunbathing. Gorgeous old mansion. Room simple and non luxurious but clean and in the right atmosphere. Would book again. Perfect for a large group that would need 12 rooms, huge kitchen, Lou yes, pool table etc. ”

“This is a wonderful place to stay! We arrived a little early but they were able to accommodate us. They gave us a tour and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious. The staff was attentive and helpful. Duarte helped us book a whale watch and warned us we needed to book the thermal spring baths ahead of time. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked being able to open the windows. We could hear the ocean surf when we didn't hear the neighborhood dogs……

“Excellent!! Quiet, spa like ambience. Serene and beautiful!! The food is excellent, the staff are fantastic and supplied us with everything we needed!! Grocery store directly across the street for any items you may need. The spa is wonderful!!! We loved the indoor heated pool as it was a bit too chilly to swim outside although the outdoor infinity pool is gorgeous!! We loved our stay!!! ”

“The resort is a beautiful property sitting on top of Santa Barbara Beach. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately during our stay it was very windy, which is why we couldn't use most of the resort, including the beach. Also with big gusts of wind, the door to our Resort Villa slammed in its hinges. The Spa is unfortunately disappointing, it's just a hot tub and the massages are very expensive. It's nice but for the price point, we would have expected……

“Quinta dos Bravos is a very nice, calm and friendly Place. We enjoyed staying there very much! Irena and Paolo are perfect hosts. The next Golf Course is only 5 minutes away, the second course about 30 minutes. We will definitely come back.”

“Room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable. The place was welcoming and with lovely decor touches. Pedro and his wife were super nice and helpful. They also helped with booking tours- making sure we get a discount. Breakfast was nice, included homemade cake and cookies. In the heart of downtown! I certainly recommend this place.”

“A beautiful hotel with top notch staff that strive to ensure one wants for nothing - or if you do want, just ask. Restaurants were great. The fantastic free breakfasts really adds to the value. A beautiful lobby and bar (with pooltable!). We didn’t take advantage of the spa but loved spending time in the mineral bath inside their pineapple greenhouse! Great location -close to Ponta Delgado but far enough away, and central to the island. Highly recommend (fyi having been there I would def not……

“This is a great place to stay if you prefer being in the heart of the city. The friendly staff were welcoming, assisting with any questions I had about the facility or Ponta Delgada. Breakfast was served as ordered and on-time. The modernized accommodations were very clean. The pool area while small provided a space to relax. I would recommend Casa da Galeria.”

“They are very helpful in all aspects, from booking tours, booking our taxi for airport transport. They where very accommodating with early check in and late check out due to our flight times. They have an area to hold our luggage so we could explore Açores luggage free. They are also very fast with replying to messages especially while in Açores! Apartment was clean and they cleaned daily and gave us fresh towels! ”
