“This is in a wonderful area of the Catskills with a creek streaming in the back if you wish to visit it. I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. It's close to farm stands or antiquing in the various towns along route 23.”

“The cabin was so cozy and perfect for our snowy weekend in the Catskills. The amenities were just as described, if not better! The jacuzzi was perfect for the cold, snowy day. Bill and Umi went above and beyond for my wife's birthday, with special touches like flowers and treats for the stay. They also got us checked in early despite a foot of snow, downed trees, and no electricity (thank goodness for the generator!). We already are planning to book another stay this winter! “The hotel is clean and the service is good, but the soundproofing is not very good”

“Check in was easy. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well appointed. Three super minor, small issues: a pan was rusting through, the bathroom fan was broken, and our blinds were stuck. Only blinds no curtains. Loved having an actual kitchenette. Bed was comfy. Plenty of storage. Very quiet. Good wifi. Great location. Would come back!”
