“This is a beautiful place to stay, but a little out of the way for most travelers. It's approximately 90 minutes' drive from Cape Town and in the opposite direction of the Garden Route, which is the route most travelers tend to follow. But it's a perfect get-away if you live in Cape Town and want to spend a long weekend in a quiet and beautiful area. Hiking, biking, winetasting... “We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!”

“We stayed in a self catering cottage. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely bath and fireplace. It is very cold in Tulbagh in mid-winter, but the bed had cosy blankets. This is a working farm, which was fun to explore with my young son. He enjoyed playing with the farm dogs!”
