“This was our first trip to Kauai, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We have stayed in many short term rentals and this was our favorite for so many reasons. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and we loved hearing the waves crash below the cliff. It is centrally located in beautiful Princeville, which is close to great restaurants, Hanalei, and beautiful beaches. The grounds are amazing, with so much greenery. “First time on Kauai? Please be aware, nothing is Ocean Front. You may see the ocean, but all housing is high on cliffs and far from the water. Between the roosters and the property maintenance workers, do not plan to sleep past 7 a.m! Would have been nice to have a food option on the property. I believe on some days there is now a food truck that parks there. If it is winter, choose housing on the south side of the island. Much wind, rain and storms prevent you from accessing the surf from……

“Loved the place but be aware of the heavy traffic that starts at 4:30 am down on Willey Road which runs right next to the property (bedroom) :-(Beautiful backyard (garden).Missing a fully covered lanai, (at least portion of it) since it rained mostly during dinner time.”

“Princeville is a great location for walks around the golf course. We had access to the pool, the tenant allowed us to use beach towels, snorkeling gear, sun umbrella and boogie boards. unit is very clean and provided all the essentials, no laundry machines nearby however. ”
