“The room was in a lodge at the rear of the house. It's was modern, stylishly decorated and well appointed. Good size bathroom had a problem with the drainage. The Monroe restaurant had a fixed two or three course menu (mushroom then salmon for me)and although the dishes were expertly presented as much as I wanted to like them I just didn't, I found them too bland for my taste. “One of our favourite places we have stayed. Hotel was beautiful, location was fantastic and the views from the room were amazing! The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The staff were very attentive. We had breakfast on the outside terrace and that was delicious. We use to live in swansea so we knew parking on the road up by verdis is free so we parked there and walked down (parking by the hotel is pricey). Had the best stay! Highly recommend ”

“Impromptu stay at the property, in a 2 bed apartment which was nicely kitted out and nice decor. Breakfast was very nice and not too heavy, had a choice of continental and cooked breakfast. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a nice terrace area for drinks and lunch/dinner. Would recommend staying here. ”

“Staff were fantastic from checking in to servicing the room and our needs. Nothing was any trouble. Restaurant staff were amazing along with all the chefs. Food was amazing cannot fault any meal we had. Nice garden area to sit outside The only thing to mention is outside our hotel room door (room 5 first floor) there must be a generator as every morning from 7am onwards. Along with the sound it also caused vibrations on our door. So if you are a light sleeper bear this in mind. We were there 3……

“Great location and friendly staff. I was disappointed with the push to order on line for a discount. As an International traveller I could NOT complete the order form due to the ‘verification code’ going back to my home country :(. Thus I was penalized from getting the discount. Not so traveller friendly! ”
