“We spent one night at Salute Hotel Group (SHG Hotel Bologna) on our way back to Canada after a week in Dubai. Exhausted, hungry, and desperate to go to sleep, I did a quick hotel search on Expedia and selected SHG because it had connecting rooms and it was close to the airport and train station. SO glad I did. SHG is an old, but charming hotel with an excellent restaurant. The staff are polite, but not friendly but it didn’t bother me. “We stayed here to be outside downtown Bologna. Very nice place — great for weddings which was happening. They had a great onsite restaurant as well. It catered not only to hotel guests but also the locals. Our food and service were great. They had on site parking for free too — underground garage. The hotel staff was very friendly as well. Good stay. ”

“The hotel is in a beautiful setting, however the exterior is a little tired. It has a very large car park and is close to the main entrance. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are friendly. I ate in the restaurant one night, the food was very tastey and the service was excellent, however it was quite expensive for a small portion. If it would have been a larger portion or cheaper it would have been perfect. There was a wide selection of breakfast items available every day.”
