“We have stayed at many Hampton Inns over the years. This property is older and is starting to show its age. I understand the property is undergoing a renovation. “This could be a nice hotel unfortunately its newly bought and i dont know what is happening but there's next to no staff we stayed eight days at first it was nice but we asked for sheets never got new ones. “The shower curtain was a little too short or the shower bar holding it too high. Water would drip on the floor and had to use many towels to clean up the water. No problem, just thought you might like to know. Your staff is exceptional and recommended several restaurants close by. ”

“Rooms were spacious, very comfortable, like living at home away from home. Beds were great. Includes a washer and dryer in the unit with detergent. Staff were overall friendly and helpful. They have a lot of scheduled activities that are all family friendly and mostly fun. One staff suggested and tried to sign me up for a timeshare appointment, so look out for that if not interested. “Colonial houses are an opportunity to stay right in the midst of historic Williamsburg . The location could not be any more convenient. We stayed at Brick House Tavern on the second floor. The bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated. However the rooms were last updated about 30-40 years ago estimating by the fixtures, etc. The rooms rates are reasonable based on location but are not reasonable based on the out of date locks (old fashioned brass keys) , bathroom plumbing and scarcity……

“Check-in was great! The front desk attendant was able to assign or party’s rooms on the same floor across the hall from each other.. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which had plenty of room for our family of six. The bathrooms had Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. The bed was comfortable. Definitely we would stay here again.”

“Staff service from everyone on the property was amazing, always a lovely smile from every person in each department I came across. My only complaint is that the beds in 5126 might need an update, very shaky and I did not have a lot of confidence in them. Also the portable AC made the carpet yet and any clothes near it wet. I do have to say, it added to the historical feeling of the building haha! Would stay again either way!”
