“The perfect place to stay for a few days if you want to be in the downtown business district of Quito. Lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as the Megamaxi supermarket, Carolina park and cinema. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and Carmen was an absolute sweetheart. Would definitely stay there again.”

“This hotel was nice and the added bonus of the homemade breakfast each morning (someone literally came into the room to make it for us!) was a great personal touch. We had the large suite on the top floor, so I'm not sure that applies to all rooms, but we appreciated it very much. The building is old (of course!) but the rooms were very comfortable and well cared for. The shower is super tiny, but-once I figured out how to work it-it did get very hot! The balcony was the best part of the……

“Wantara is a little haven in the city--- unique gardens, tastefully designed apartments (they thought of everything---including really comfy down pillows and duvets), and a good location with easy access to historic Quito. But the real treasures are the hosts. Both Wolfgang and Yannick were not only hosts but instant friends looking our for us---there to help navigate the city and give us great advice about how to best spend our time. Yannick gave us his WhatsApp and more than once helped get us……
