The red decor was interesting - felt a bit outdated. The breakfast area was also small and the continental breakfast was average at best with not much variety on a daily basis. “As a solo female traveler, I take feeling safe very seriously and during my stay at Leevin Guesthouse, I felt very safe and secure. I was using the train to get to/from Faro and this guesthouse is perfect for train, bus and air travel, across the road from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal, 10 mins from the ferry terminal. “Our flight home was cancelled due to the power outage and as our original hotel was fully booked, we had to find another hotel with available rooms. The hotel was cheaper than we would normally spend, but we were very pleasantly surprised to find a decent sized bedroom, good sized bathroom and very friendly staff. We arrived to a very stressed reception team working in candlelight, but they were happy to give us some food, water and candles! The location is good for the best restaurants in……
