“Beautiful place, peaceful surroundings, with great views. This property lives up to its name, "Deer Haven Lodge". Deer roam the grounds freely. The house is cozy, well maintained and organized, and has beautiful decor. The owner provided necessary information, and we were able to communicate with her throughout our stay. We had a great time. “This place was perfect for our ski and snowboard trip to Whiteface. Close to the mountain for us to get in early. We used each room and all my friends were very comfortable. Even the two adult men that had to share the small cabin had no complaints. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for us to recover our exhausted bodies from full day of shredding the mountain. The foosball table was a hit. The large dinner table fit our whole crew. The heated floors were a delightful surprise and perfect for……

“My wife and I had a lovely weekend stay at this inn during the 4th of July weekend. We were mostly in the area for hiking and just needed a place to sleep and relax when not exploring the area. The place was fairly quiet and comfortable. It’s pretty much a full apartment with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The place is a little dated but we didn’t mind at all because it had everything we needed at a reasonable price. The only complaint I have is that one day after a long hike we came……

“This was our first visit to Wilmington NY. The house and the location are wonderful. A very peaceful environment and the house is comfortable and nicely appointed. The location on Quaker Mtn Rd is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy quiet. Lots of good hiking trails around the area and getting to Lake Placid is easy and "just down the road".
