“A really quirky little room, we stayed in the Oriental room. Comfy bed and clean. Nice little extra,s shampoo, shower cap, shower gel. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.The breakfast was amazing, one of the best. Would highly recommen.”

“We had a lovely stay, exceeded our expectations on almost every count. The hotel is brilliantly dog-friendly. The breakfast offering was particularly good - a different menu, with flexibility within the options, and the buffet was lovely as well. The location is fantastic for walking and beaches, which is all we wanted for this trip, so we are very happy guests and would certainly return for another visit.”

“Very convenient, 20mins away from the town centre, nicely decorated & easy to park. Only reason for not being perfect throughout is the bedding was a bit thin and the electric meter cupboard door was broken so it banged in the wind & kept me up. Otherwise great”

“Had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. “Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING……

“Couldn't have asked for more for a short stay in Margate. 2 mins walk to the beach and very close to the centre and main amenities. Very dog friendly which is a plus, but still exceptionally clean. Room facilities excellent - lots of towels, very comfy bed, toiletries and plenty of tea & coffee. Jim is an exceptional host; the best we have ever had; cannot do too much for you. Great welcome and chat about what there is to see and do in the local and surrounding areas, buses etc. Jim, you are……
