“An overnight dtay for the Hay festival.
The first time i have stayed at a B&B in over 40years.
OML how wonderful my stay was, fabulous hosts Fiona and James plus the gorgeous dogs'! Super room, very comfortable and everything one could wish for. Such attention to detail. The breakfast which was a 'full English' was the best breakfast i have had in a very long time, with all either home made or locally sourced. Fiona's granola with yoghurt and berries so very tasty. A beautiful home. All superb.……

“We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode!
The room was extremely comfortable and clean.
We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly.
The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset.
Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location.
Even a chicken popped in to say hello!

“Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. ”

“Nice stay. Room clean and bed reasonably comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent.
If I was being critical I'd say that there is significant road noise if you need a window open and the carpets are looking pretty tired on the stairs and in the room. That aside, it was a nice stay ”
