“Lovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay.”

“Arrived Saturday 07/06/2025, during a torrential downpour but Tim was at the door with a warm welcome, swiftly followed by Vicky. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to room one. This room overlooks the front of the property with an extremely large sash window, which makes the room nice and bright. The room itself is very large with king sized+ double bed fully furnished. Wardrobe, dressing table + stool, chest of drawers, tv, 2 chairs, coffee table and a hospitality of tea , coffee,……

“Lovely hotel The Location was perfect! The room was very clean although very stuffy at night but there was a fan in the room and the window can be opened and was still very quiet. Loved the pool & spa facilities. Breakfast there was plenty of choice. Will definitely stay here again if we visit the area. If I was being very picky the only complaint we had was the evening meal portions were very small for the price that we paid. Would definitely recommend this hotel for staying.”

They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area. “Really lovely little hotel (12 rooms?). Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Location very convenient for Torquay but far enough away from the noise. Beautiful 19th century property. Hosts very friendly, everyone greeted at breakfast by their names - how do they remember everyone's name??! Lovely breakfast all made to order - good variety. Would definitely stay again if in Torquay. We booked through expedia but worth looking at booking direct.”

“I liked the roominess of this property. The view to the ocean was also lovely, but it comes with 170 steps to get down to the waterfront! I did not like having to fight for a car park on the street (as there is none included with the apartment), but after 3 weeks of driving around the UK, I now understand this is the norm. The bed was comfy. Would have liked more than 2 tea bags for a 2 night stay. Disappointed that the washing machine wasn't actually in our apartment (which was one……
