“Had a wonderful two night stay at Hotel Flaminia. There is no parking at the hotel but for €20 per day you can park outside the town then be brought to the hotel for free on a golf buggy. We had a superior double room which had a view of the lake but no balcony. The breakfast was good and our room was modern and well equipped but the best feature is the fact that you lounge on the terrace and swim in the lake with the ducks straight off the terrace. “The location is beautiful and right in the centre of town. 20 minutes walk from the train station and 5 from the ferry terminals. The balcony on our terrace had plenty room for the 2 of us to sit there and enjoy the view. Our room was comfortable although the shower cubicle on the small side. The room and hotel in general, although rather dated was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. The service from the breakfast team was superb as was the choice and quality of food on offer.……
