“This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony. The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes. We look forward to another stay in the coming years. ”

“The property is located about 15 minutes from the Lucerne train station. When we checked in, the registration was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They asked if we’re going to eat and when we said yes, they said they would have a table waiting for us in the attached restaurant. The room was large and very clean. Beautiful views overlooking lake Lucerne. We were able to have a set on the outside patio which was fantastic. The only issue was the a/c unit. It cooled very well but……

“The drive up was an experience on its own, the location is indescribably beautiful with panoramic views of the mountains, green valleys and blue lakes below, spotted with little farms and villages. Staff was supremely helpful and kind, treated us like family, offering advice and perspective on surrounding areas and other destinations along our trip. “Super Blick auf die Berge und den See. Das ist echt das beste Hotel mit so einer Aussicht. Frühstück war richtig lecker. Das Abendessen hat uns auch total gefallen – es gibt zwar nicht viele Gerichte, aber die sind echt gut gemacht und die Weinauswahl ist groß. Im rechten Gebäude, wo wir gewohnt haben, sind die Zimmer natürlich günstiger, aber die Möbel sind schon ziemlich alt. Der Balkon ist leider total ungepflegt. Dafür sind die Betten super und das Zimmer war sauber. Für den Preis ist das……

“Though it is not located in the center of the main tourist sites, it is not far away from it. If you drive, it only takes 10 mins to get you to the heart of Lucerne. Plenty of free carparking lots are provided. Good scenic view as well. ”
