“We absolutely loved our stay! The place felt super private with all the lush greenery—like our own little hideaway. The house was stocked with everything we could need, from coffee, creamer, and tea to cooking essentials, which made it feel extra welcoming. The bed heaters on each side were such a great touch—my wife runs cold and I run hot, so we both slept perfectly.The headlamps provided were awesome for exploring, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was just a quick 10-minute……

“Cute & Cozy Cottage very close to Volcanoes National Park. Only stayed for 1 night but wished we stayed longer to be able to use the fire pit. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 1 child. Loved being able to have the windows open and listen to the sounds of the coqui frogs.”

“8 of us stayed at this wonderful property (5 adults and 3 kids under 10). It was just perfect. The house is extremely comfortable and everyone had their own space. We loved the location as for us we wanted to explore Volcano National Park and much of the east side of the island. We did go to Kona for a day which was easily accessible as well. Hilo is awesome and so is this house!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful with a fantastic view! We enjoyed our time outside as much as inside. The kitchen was very well stocked, the master bed was cozy and comfortable, & to have a washer/dryer half way in our trip was great. We were greeted with delicious chocolate macadamia nuts as well as macadamia wine. Yum! This home is about a 20min from Hilo, and we found the drive to be worth it to stay here. If you walk left out of the property, you will head to a wonderful……

“Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!”

“Had a very pleasant stay at Jenipher and Davidʻs home. Jenipher communicated well and responded to all questions/concerns. The studio was fully stocked with amenities galore! Very clean, inviting and peaceful. I heard the coqui frogs at night but didn’t mind or lose sleep over it. Loved the interior local decor and cool relaxing colors. I was allowed to bring my cat too (I brought my own kitty’s supplies) which I appreciated very much! ”
