“We rode on a motorcycle for 10 hours under constant rain. When we arrived at 10pm, we were soaked. Hot shower was all matters. I am glad the water was very hot. Towels and hair dryer were ready. The room was very clean. They also offer free coffee and some energy bars, which ended up as our dinner. It was a perfect destination for our day.”

“The location is beautiful, and the owners have kept their up the motel feeling of the place with style. The rooms were carefully and thoughtfully furnished, and we enjoyed our little, private screened in porch. We just loved it!”

“Although we were at Paddler’s Rest briefly, we would return again to enjoy all of the amenities. The private sandy beach, indoor game room, and free use of kayaks and canoes were a huge bonus. The refrigerator in the motel room was sizable. The staff were welcoming and quick to give us dining suggestions.”

“I stayed here by myself to fish Thirteenth Lake. That was a short commute by car. The bite was slow but the lodge was comfortable and well-run. It's remote with no other options for meals nearby. The menu is limited and cocktails are expensive, but the food is good. The summer rate for the room without a view was pretty cheap for the region and amenities. The lodge is part of a property association including private homes that share the dock and beach. Remote but otherwise easy access to I-87.……

They gave us wonderful tips on places to go and places to eat, and were all-around helpful and welcoming! They truly made our first visit to the Adirondacks an unforgettably positive experience. Thank you so much!! Two points worth mentioning: Blueberry Hill is not on the lake, but Sandy Point is; the office is at Sandy Point, so that’s where you’ll need to check in. ”

“We had a great visit! There is beautiful natural light from the windows. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the design of the fireplace and the photos of wildlife in the living room. We hope to come back when we have more time to explore the area. We enjoyed Chef Darrell's Diner in Blue Mountain Lake. there is outdoor and indoor seating.We really appreciated being able to bring our dog, thank you! ”
