“We had a very nice stay here. Room was great, good shower, nice bed. Breakfast was the type your order from menu, but decent options and well-made. Loved the pool part, quiet and relaxing, with a small pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Highlight was the staff, very friendly and helpful. Caveat on the rooms. Old part of hotel must be 50-100 years old. And rooms show that. While in the back they extended hotel with another building, where we stayed, these rooms are very modern and new. ”

“It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.”

“We had the hayloft that could sleep 3 but was a win for us as a couple. It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. “We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet……

“We enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. Breakfast was also delicious and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend a stay.”
