“The floor was filthy when we entered the room. Everything else was alright. A bit of outdated. Breakfast was below average ”

“While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby.”

In our next hotel in Roanoke (typical hotel room) our son kept opening the closet and bathroom doors looking for the “rest of the place.” Asking “where’s the rest of the rooms?”Good location. Clean kitchen. Straight forward check-in and out. Loved doing a load of laundry before traveling onto our next location. Beautiful building. Cool history. Great shower too. ”

“University Mill House was the perfect location while attending events at Cabarrus Arena. Susan was so responsive from the initial booking stages and throughout the stay. Immaculately clean, so much attention has been given to details of anything you may need from a sound machine, aromatherapy diffuser, dual kitchen decanter/kcup, fast brew hot water tea pot and every utensil imaginable. The gas grill was an added bonus. A basket was provided for the pets, sofa cover and little blankets. The……
