“This was a simple hotel with everything we needed and good proximity to all the shopping. My favorite soda in CR is across the street, its a must try. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.”

“We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. Also ample hot water, AC and strong Wifi. Note that this location is a little far out so not walkable to any amenities. Our host Glenda, who is a native of Monteverde, was amazing. “This was our favorite stay during our two week road trip to Costa Rica. The resort is a quick drive into town while still being removed enough to feel immersive and peaceful. We saw so many birds without even leaving the property and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and friends by the breakfast porch area.
