“This little cottage was very quaint, perfect for a quick girl's getaway. Situated in close walking distance to Lighthouse Beach, small shops and places to eat. I much rather prefer little places like this, that have all the basics of a low key but enjoyable area. It was just what we needed to enjoy all Sanibel has to offer.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Perfect sized cottage for the two of us. Wish the bathroom had a shelf for cosmetic bags and dop kits, but we managed. Liked the beach access and parking pass even though it was a long walk from the parking lot to the beach. Communication with the owners was very was good. No dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no hair dryer but towels and beach chairs (too low for us old folks) were provided. Umbrella would have been nice. Lots of the island things to do were within……

“This is the perfect spot for two people. The hotel was ideally located next to a small shopping center with a restaurant, beach goods shop, and ice cream parlor...and just 5 minute walk from the beach! It was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for a long-weekend getaway. We'll definitely be back!”

“Our first trip to Sanibel Island did not disappoint. Periwinkle Cottage #4 Egret was PERFECT! From the time of booking, management was very informative of procedure, rules, things to do, everything we needed up front. They texted when our unit was ready, so the early check in was much appreciated. Very clean and perfect size for us. Everything stated on the website was provided. “Not all beds were made. No soap in bathrooms was unusual. Clean and good space. Grill in odd location but well stocked kitchen Having the incorrect access code cost us some groceries which was frustrating ”
