“On previous trips to Santa Barbara we’ve stayed closer to the beach, but for this mother/daughter trip with an independent teen I wanted to be close enough to Street street for my daughter to browse shops while I worked. Best. Location. Ever. Drift opens directly onto the first few blocks of State street which are closed to through traffic. It’s vibrant, lively and safe. We were able to host a lovely family BBQ with 5 other family members to celebrate him and were so impressed by how stocked the kitchen was to host such an event. It was like being in my own kitchen. “Our group of 6 friends thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Raymond's gorgeous home. The location is great, so quiet and pretty - but just a short drive to everything going on in town. We took great walks through the nearby preserve to the beach, and down the cool Mesa Lane steps (check it out!). The home feels very modern but still comfortable, with plenty of room to just hang out (indoors and out). We would return in a heartbeat!”

“I actually thought (based on the pictures) it was just one bedroom and the futon in the living room as the "second" bedroom. But I was pleasantly surprised to have two full bedrooms with King sized beds. Cute property, I really loved that the unit was over the carport, so we didn't have to worry about my toddler stomping around. Bathroom and beds were clean.
