“This hotel was a "wow" all around. The photos don't do it justice: 1) The area: the town it was in is super cute. Everyone knows one another in the area. Views of Etna were incredible. Just a very beautiful region of sicily. 2) The service: the front desk helped us book a helicopter tour of etna. “We had a fantastic stay at Residence Terra Rossa. The views were breathtaking. Our room and the grounds were spotless clean. We traveled with our kids (ages 6, 8, 10) and we are an active family so we had no issues with the vast number of stairs. In fact we really enjoyed the walks home to burn off all the pasta and gelato. We enjoyed the breakfast each day (it was pricey for our family of 5 at 15 Euros per person, but we did it anyways for convenience and because we needed fuel and coffee……

“We booked a stay in the junior suite (with jacuzzi), planning to stay in Milazzo for only two nights. But we loved the easy access to a clean beach, the super comfy canopy bed, the well functioning AC, the pleasant staff and good breakfast mix of sweet and savory (tilting in typical Italian fashion to the sweet). On the second day, we realized just how relaxed we felt at this hotel, so we decided to stay an extra two nights! It was well worth it. I came back from Italy feeling totally relaxed……
