“Overall a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a nice touch however a night there was a lot of noise until late as well as early in the morning. I’m not sure if this was due to location of the room (being on first floor and above the dining room/kitchen). It was difficult to sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything available on site, but also very easy walking distance to Funchal centre. All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was wonderful & breakfast was a delicious choice of fresh & cooked food. “The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are all very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice available. Our room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable and there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, also a complimentary bottle of wine, and fresh water in the room every day. The bar off the reception area didn’t seem well used but the view from the top floor was great. The pool is small, and the wind pretty strong up there. The hotel is within easy walking……
