“Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves.”

“This is a fantastic hotel which me and my wife would thoroughly recommend. Owner Jill could not have been more helpful, with a room upgrade. Cooked Breakfast was hot, and the fruit selection first class. You would find some of the other hotels more expensive and offer you a lot less. This hotel was first class all the way.”

“We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron. “I stayed for one night at The Cordelia as a solo traveller, and chose this hotel as it was conveniently located and looked great in the photos. I was not disappointed! From the moment I arrived, Rebecca was most welcoming. I was given a dis for the car parking on the road and was shown to my room which was warm and cosy with lovely decoration and a homely touch. “Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Spot on place , would stay again.”

“Very enjoyable stay. Only problem was parking. Long way to walk to the car park with bags, especially when you have mobility problems. Other than that stay was lovely and David was very helpful and friendly. As an ex resident of Scarborough all the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. ”

“Lovely hotel - we had the executive double with sea view - very comfortable king size bed, nice white bed and bathroom linen, large room with two bucket chairs and great sea view, tea/coffee, lovely clean bathroom with very hot water and great shower. Excellent breakfast and bar snacks. All staff from cleaning, reception, bar and breakfast room extremely friendly and helpful. Didn’t use the spa but looked nice and very popular. Paid for parking at back of hotel but TBH the parking at the front……
