“Great and friendly staff”

“Very nice lady who looked after us very well, lovely pub , room was good apart from being to hot for my liking luckily two huge windows we could open for some cool air , bed was huge and comfortable, shower was ace , breakfast was great , only small gripe I would have is the pub only stays open to 10pm ”

It’s a very popular pub so advisable to book a table for dinner. Very convenient for exploring North Yorkshire. We would stay again. ”

“the room was not warm enough and although mentioned to the staff, it was some time before the heating was sufficient. The tea maker was in a cupboard on the floor. This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. Having mentioned these two points, the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. The evening meal was delicious, although the breakfast on our second day was rather short on availability of fresh fruit. This is……
