“Lovely large country house hotel right on the seashore with a path down to the oceanfront walkway. Beautiful views (a breakfast neighbor saw dolphins out in the water). Friendly staff (Sal), large public rooms, and a comfortable en-suite room. Easy walk to the high street of Nairn. ”

“We were so thrilled to be able to secure a room after a terrible Airbnb experience. Luckily they had a cancellation and we were in. The hotel as well as the staff were wonderful! Special mention to Cameron,Alex and Sarah who work in the restaurant and added to our exceptional experience. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and the drinks were among the best. “Nothing wrong with it except that I was suppose to be booking a Best Western Hotel, but while it is indeed a Best Western, they put me in a another small house next to the main Best Western building. There are 4 rooms in the small house and is 30 seconds walk away. It does not feel like I am living in a Best Western hotel.”

“The location is very good, very east to find, it is a very peaceful area, it also has the sea view from my room, parking can park next to the supermarket. However the room is very small, but it should be very small in the overall highland area, just depends how much you pay. Thanks!”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
