Down side is that there are no staff to talk to and not much room for hanging clothing etc. We stayed 3 nights and had to keep our suit case in the bathroom. There is a restaurant down stairs that we didn't use as preferred to opt for more reasonably priced breakfasts. ”

“Excellent self-check-in hotel on the A83 looking directly into a stunning view of Loch Fyne at Inverary. Lovely garden with seating area for relaxing, eating, drinking or just taking in the view. Well appointed room and with fridge, kettle, tea, coffee. En-suite with fluffy towels, cotton buds, soap and shower gel. Close to lovely cafés and bars of Inverary and walkable to the beautiful castle. Would recommend!”

“Chris was an amazing host. Great sense of humor, and very welcoming. I loved the mature trees and hike right off the property. The local animals were also a major plus! They even offer vegan sausage, butter, and blood pudding - I can vouch for the first two but wasn't brave enough to try vegan blood pudding! The moment we drove up, I was disappointed we were only staying one night. I would LOVE to visit again in the future! ”

“Kirkton Bay is one of those places where, despite it being in a remote location with very little to do, I still felt like I wasn't ready to leave when the time came! This B&B is located almost right on the beach, with stunning views of the hills/mountains on the Isle Of Skye. The cabin that I stayed in was cleaned / maintained to a 5-star hotel standard, especially the bathroom which was absolutely spotless.
