“Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. “This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. “This is a beautiful guest house that is very close to the railway station and the waterfront. Ferries go to Great Cumbrae regularly where there are lovely walks and scenery. The room although small had everything you need. The shower was shared with another room but that was no problem. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit, homemade bread, cooked breakfast. Keith was very welcoming and made you feel at home. Definitely would recommend. ”
