“Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of character and original features. The view from our room was amazing, looking right out to the sea and Arran. “This was stated as a 3 star hotel, i would give it a 4 star. The breakfast and evening meal were excellent and very tasty. They kindly moved us from a room with shower to a room with a bath. Lovely fluffy towels. This hotel is very good value for money. There is only about 6 parking spaces at the hotel,although you are Allowed to park in the carpark across the road free of charge. ”

“Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was well equiped with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. At midnight we couldn’t get to sleep in room 5 as a dog was constantly barking in the kennels at the Police office outside our room. Colin at reception immediately moved my wife and I to the opposite side of the hotel and all was well. Hotel was clean, warm and tidy and we enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning which there was plenty to choose from. I would certainly recommend it as it is……
