I do feel that anyone considering booking here needs to know the location is near the top of a hill. We walked from the train station...wow, quite the cardio workout! There are many steps from the driveway to the house. Just be aware.”
“We booked the same day for 4 of us. Fantastic hostess, Farrah. My cousin and our Mothers, my cousin is pregnant so Farrah gave me a seperate room next door so we had 2 bathrooms at no extra cost. Great location, very warm and friendly atmosphere. All the places recommended to us in the area were great and we had a fantastic stay!

“Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.”
“Lovely little pub and rooms, food is very good although it's at a price point where you'd expect that.
Lots of German and Dutch tourists stopping and a few locals. Not much of a pub vibe as it's all given over to dining but the room were spacious and comfortable.”
“Lovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay.”

“Very nice little hotel with very nice and friendly staff. Close walk to the beach. A little hot in the room but to be expected in the summer. There was a fan in the room to cool it down a little. Slept very well. ”
“Chris who booked us in and then helped us later in the evening was exceptionally lovely. He impressed us all a lot and made us happy. The hotel is ideal for the channel tunnel and close enough to Folkestone to have a little wander around the beautiful coast. The hotel is pet friendly which is great. There are some places to walk the dog a 10 minute drive away. ”
“Used the hotel as a night stop before an early ferry. It served thus purpose well was clean fidy with an easy check in helpful manager / owner. The hotel is a little dated but tidy and great for our 1 night stay only 15 minutes from either the ferry or eurotunnel.”
